Joint Innovation, Shared Future: Xiangjiang Guanxi and Wanhua Chemical Sign Agreement to Jointly Establish a Laboratory, Deepening Technological Innovation Cooperation

Recently, a delegation of six from our company, including Executive Vice General Manager Wang, Vice President Feng from the Research Institute, Department Head Zha and Section Chief Liu from the Planning and Logistics Department, and Doctors Yi and Huang from the Research Institute, visited the Wanhua Chemical Magshan Global R&D Center in Yantai for a work exchange. Sixteen people from Wanhua Chemical attended the event, including Executive Vice President Hua Weiqi, General Manager Ding Hao of the Functional Chemicals Division, and Deputy General Manager Sun Shuchang of the Functional Chemicals Division.
That morning, Vice General Manager Wang's group visited the Wanhua Global R&D Center and digital exhibition hall, experiencing Wanhua Chemical's independent innovation journey from its inception to its technological leadership. In the exhibition hall, Wanhua's key products were closely linked to clothing, food, housing, and transportation in daily life through models, outlining a picture of a happy and beautiful future life, which was impressive. Afterwards, they visited the research corridor, viewed various Wanhua's specialized laboratories and cutting-edge experimental equipment, and highly praised its scientific research and innovation capabilities.
In the afternoon, both sides had an in-depth discussion on key cooperation projects for the future joint laboratory. Wanhua Chemical detailed its scientific research management system and the application of ADI and water-based products in automotive original paint. Vice President Feng from our Research Institute shared the research institute's development direction and future product planning for automotive coatings, as well as the key research projects currently being focused on. Section Chief Liu reported on our company's business cooperation with Wanhua Chemical and the progress of existing projects.
Vice General Manager Wang stated at the meeting that Wanhua Chemical is a leading enterprise focusing on high-tech and high-value-added chemical new materials. In the past decade, it has rapidly grown from a small company to a large one, from technologically weak to technologically advanced, becoming an industry benchmark that follows a path of independent innovation. Wanhua Chemical is guided by excellent culture, driven by technological innovation, based on excellent operations, and rooted in talent. It implements a development strategy of high-end, large-scale, green, intelligent, global, and low-cost development, which is worth learning from. He has high hopes for the establishment of the joint laboratory between the two parties, hoping that both sides will fully utilize their respective advantages in their fields, cooperate upstream and downstream, and jointly tackle key raw materials and formulas.
Finally, both sides held a signing ceremony and unveiling ceremony for the cooperation agreement on the establishment of a joint laboratory, marking a new stage in the cooperation between Xiangjiang Guanxi and Wanhua Chemical. In the future, both sides will fully carry out technological innovation cooperation, allowing the flowers of cooperation to bloom more brilliantly and the fruits of cooperation to bear more abundantly, jointly contributing to the high-quality development of the automotive coatings industry!
