Hunan Xiangjiang Kansai Coatings Co., Ltd. is a Sino-Japanese joint venture established by Hunan Xiangjiang Coatings Group Co., Ltd., Kansai Paint Co., Ltd., Kansai Paint (China) Investment Co., Ltd., and Chaoyang Trading Co., Ltd.
The company is located in Hunan Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 66,000 square meters, with a technical headquarters and research institute. In 2014, a wholly-owned subsidiary, Hunan Xiangjiang Kansai Coatings (Changsha) Co., Ltd., was established in the Tongguan Circular Industrial Base of Wangcheng Economic Development Zone, covering an area of 236,000 square meters, with an annual output of 180,000 tons of automotive coatings and 60,000 tons of resin. It comprehensively supplies a series of high-end automotive coatings, including cathodic electrophoresis primers, solvent-based topcoats, water-based topcoats, clear coats, and low-temperature paints.
The company has introduced various professional R&D and testing instruments and equipment, focusing on the research and development of automotive OEM coatings. It possesses a complete and professional R&D center and a national weathering testing center.
Based on its quality assurance system, Xiangjiang Kansai has successively passed certifications such as IS0-9001, QS-9000, IATF-16949, ISO-14001, and ISO-45001. Adhering to the quality policy of "customer first, striving for excellence, and consistency inside and out," it provides customers with high-quality products and services. It serves more than 300 coating lines for numerous automakers and parts suppliers, including BYD Auto, Chery Automobile, Geely Automobile, Changan Automobile, Great Wall Motor, SAIC Passenger Car, Seres, FAW Hongqi, SAIC-GM-Wuling, SAIC Volkswagen, Beijing Benz, Guangqi Honda, Dongfeng Honda, Dongfeng Nissan, FAW Jiefang, JAC Motors, JMC, Foton Motor, and parts companies such as Yanfeng, Balin, Dongyang, Huaxiang, and Molds. 35 resident offices are spread across the country.
