I. Safety Mechanism Management
1. Safety Policy: Safety is a prerequisite for normal production and operation, providing strong support for the sustainable development of the enterprise. To this end, the company has always firmly implemented the management policy of "Safety First, Prevention First, Comprehensive Management", regarding safety work as the top priority.
2. Safety Standardization: As a Level 2 unit for safety production standardization, the company deeply studies the connotation of safety standardization, achieving "standardized safety management system, popularized safety knowledge, standardized safety operation, and standardized safety facilities".
3. Safety Organization System: The company has established a safety committee, appointing a full-time safety manager and occupational health manager to comprehensively manage safety matters.
4. Safety Culture Construction: Establishing propaganda columns and other cultural platforms, during the "June Safety Month", holding safety knowledge competitions, playing safety education films, organizing emergency evacuation drills, and other activities to vigorously promote safety publicity work, further improving the safety awareness and quality of all employees.
5. Safety Assessment: The company has formulated the "Safety and Environmental Protection Assessment Standards" and the "Safety Reward and Punishment Measures", and is responsible for organizing relevant departments to sign the "Safety Production Target Responsibility Letter". Safety and environmental protection assessments are included in the company's performance appraisal work.
II. Safety Risk Control
1. Safety Monitoring: All production machines use safety explosion-proof equipment, and at the same time, fire automatic alarm systems and combustible gas detection monitoring devices are fully covered in work production areas, and on-duty personnel are arranged for 24-hour monitoring.
2. Safety Hazard Management: The company implements a hazard investigation and management system, organizing regular company-level and departmental-level safety inspections and daily patrols by safety management personnel, and organizing all employees to conduct self-examination and self-correction in the production work environment to promptly discover and report abnormalities. From January to December 2017, a total of 727 hidden dangers were found, including 237 in Xingsha Factory and 490 in Tongguan Factory. All hidden dangers were followed up and rectified.
3. Safety Training and Education: All employees have received safety training and fire drills, and emergency drills have been organized to allow all employees to understand the importance of safety production, master safety knowledge, and have basic fire-fighting capabilities.
4. Supervision of Special Operations: The company implements a special operation approval system. In 2017, a total of 1074 special operations such as fire and confined spaces were approved and supervised, including 655 in Xingsha Factory and 419 in Tongguan Factory. All special operations were implemented safely without any accidents.
5. Risk Assessment: Every year, the company organizes various departments to identify, analyze, and evaluate the risks in their respective positions, equipment, operation processes, and workplaces, allowing employees to understand job risks and reduce accident risks.
Environmental Protection ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
I. Waste Gas Treatment:
The company has invested heavily in waste gas treatment facilities. The waste gas from all production workshops of the company is concentrated and treated using the process of zeolite rotary concentrator + regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO). The treated waste gas fully meets the maximum allowable emission concentration and emission rate (secondary) requirements of the "Comprehensive Emission Standard for Air Pollutants" (GB16297-1996) (Table 2).
II. Wastewater Treatment:
The company's self-built wastewater treatment plant has been in operation 24 hours a day since August 2014, and the discharge compliance rate has always been maintained at 100%.
III. Hazardous Waste Treatment:
All hazardous waste from the company is collected and disposed of in accordance with the law and regulations. The company has set up a special hazardous waste warehouse, managed by a dedicated person.
IV. Energy Management:
The company has established an energy management institution, and through a series of measures such as the transformation of high-energy-consuming equipment, energy-saving work has been quite effective. The average monthly water consumption and natural gas consumption per unit output in 2017 decreased by 3.97% and 0.46% respectively compared to 2016.
