Hunan Xiangjiang Kansai Coatings Co., Ltd. is a Sino-Japanese joint venture established by Hunan Xiangjiang Coatings Group Co., Ltd., Kansai Paint Co., Ltd., Kansai Paint (China) Investment Co., Ltd., and Chaoyang Trading Co., Ltd.
Located in Hunan Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, the company covers an area of 66,000 square meters and has a technical headquarters and research institute. In 2014, a wholly-owned subsidiary, Hunan Xiangjiang Kansai Coatings (Changsha) Co., Ltd., was established in the Tongguan Circular Industrial Base of Wangcheng Economic Development Zone, covering an area of 236,000 square meters with an annual production capacity of 180,000 tons of automotive coatings and 60,000 tons of resins. It provides a full range of high-end automotive coatings, including cathodic electrocoating primers, solvent-based topcoats, water-based topcoats, clear coats, and low-temperature paints.
The company has introduced various professional R&D and testing instruments and equipment, focusing on the research and development of automotive original factory coatings, and has a complete and professional R&D center and a national weathering test center.
Xiangjiang Kansai, based on the quality assurance system, has successively passed ISO-9001, QS-9000, IATF-16949, ISO-14001, ISO-45001 and other related system certifications, adhering to the quality policy of "customer first, excellence, consistency", providing customers with high-quality products and services.

Hunan Xiangjiang Coatings Group Co., Ltd. is a large-scale comprehensive enterprise group mainly engaged in the research and manufacturing of coatings and resins, as well as diversified operations such as metal packaging production and equipment manufacturing and installation. The company's predecessor was Hunan Paint Factory, founded in 1950, and is one of the earliest established coating companies in China. The group has a complete coating R&D, production, logistics, sales and quality assurance system, and has established a provincial-level coating technology and quality inspection center. Advanced coating production lines are imported from Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and other countries. In 2010, the company's annual coating production capacity was 150,000 tons, with an annual sales revenue exceeding 2 billion yuan.
