Twenty years of dreams, three years of hard work, Xiangjiang Kansai won the SAIC Volkswagen Award for the first time
“Winning numerous awards in the past, this one wasn't easy. Thank you to the team, thank you to my partners, and thank you for your company along the way!” This acceptance speech by Huang Lifeng, Executive Vice General Manager of Xiangjiang Kansai, at the SAIC Volkswagen Supplier Conference went viral on social media.
On January 17, 2017, the 2016 SAIC Volkswagen Supplier Conference and Outstanding Supplier Commendation Conference was held at the North Star InterContinental Hotel in Changsha, Hunan Province. Huang Lifeng, Executive Vice General Manager of Hunan Xiangjiang Kansai Paint Co.,Ltd., was invited to attend the conference. At the conference, Xiangjiang Kansai won the 2016 SAIC Volkswagen “Excellent Cooperation Performance Award” and received a Skoda car as a reward. Xiangjiang Kansai's cooperation with SAIC Volkswagen (formerly Shanghai Volkswagen) began in 2014. After three years of hard work, this award in Changsha marks the realization of a dream.
Volkswagen has always held a core position in Xiangjiang Kansai's market layout. As the first Japanese coatings supplier to enter Volkswagen's global supply system, it is indeed remarkable to receive such an honor after only three years of cooperation. Xiangjiang Kansai's sincerity, dedication, professionalism, and cooperative spirit demonstrated to SAIC Volkswagen have been appreciated by the client. The “Excellent Cooperation Performance Award,” a simple phrase, and the word “special” encapsulate SAIC Volkswagen’s affirmation of Xiangjiang Kansai’s past achievements and its high expectations for the future.
